411 Seniors Centre
A multicultural resource centre where community, volunteers, and staff address seniors issues and concerns. Offers low/no cost social, educational and recreational programs. A drop-in is available where members and volunteers can connect and socialize from 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday. Membership is $10 per year. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
When heat warning is called, acts as a cooling centre where people can take refuge from extreme heat conditions. Hours are 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday. Offers wellness checks by phone to vulnerable seniors and provides cooling tips. Also offers cooling kits, which include a thermometer, water bottle, and cooling pack, for delivery or pick up.
