A cooperative volunteer network that preserves information, photographs, and memories of First Nations, Inuit, and Metis people. Assists in connecting people who are researching their ancestry and traditions, and encourages sharing of facts and stories. Resources include family trees, published stories, and official records documenting ancestry and celebrating Indigenous experience, knowledge, and achievements. Teaches genealogy research through presentations to schools, Elder centres, and band offices. Call ahead for meeting times and locations. Services are also accessible by email and social media.
