Seeks to raise public awareness and understanding of the challenges and abilities of people living with facial differences. Provides information services, emotional support, and educational programs for children and adults, and their families. Welcomes clients whose difference is present at birth, and those who acquire a facial difference as a result of disease, accident, or trauma. Offers peer-to-peer networking support for parents, families, and individuals. Educational programs also offered in schools to address socialization issues, examine diversity, and to promote tolerance and acceptance. Also offers Camp Trailblazers, a retreat for youth ages eight to 18. Nonprofit society.
