Access Pro Bono Society of BC

Promotes access to justice in BC by providing, coordinating, and fostering quality pro bono legal services for people and nonprofit organizations of limited means. Provides legal training, resources, and information to individuals and organizations facilitating access to justice or providing pro bono legal services. Supplies pro bono lawyers with full insurance when providing approved legal services, and disbursement coverage for registered pro bono cases. Conducts research into issues which relate to access to justice, the provision of pro bono legal services, and volunteerism in the legal sector. Office hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by the Law Foundation of BC, Law Society of BC, Governmentt of BC, and City of Vancouver. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
