Alberta/BC Cave Rescue Service

Coordinates cave rescue training and response in Alberta and BC through two parallel organizations, BC Cave Rescue and Alberta Cave Rescue Organization. These nonprofit societies represent organized caving in BC and Alberta, and train together and maintain a common membership list, public name, and policies and procedures. They respond to cave rescue emergencies anywhere in Western Canada, assisting Emergency Management BC, RCMP, and ambulance services only when deployed when tasked by a government agency.
