Aquafit for All

Offers accessible aquatic exercise opportunities for individuals of all ages with physical and mental health challenges and disabilities who may not be able to access regular aquatic programs. Aqua Vision is an adapted water aerobics program for people who are blind or partially blind; classes held at Bonsor Recreation Complex in Burnaby. Aqua BLAST is an adapted water aerobics program for stroke survivors and individuals with neurological disorders; classes held at Eileen Daily Leisure Pool in Burnaby. Call for class times, as they may vary depending on pool availability. $10 annual membership fee includes all classes for the year. Referral accepted from self or other. Maximum 12 people per class. All programs are accessible for people with disabilities. Service offered in Cantonese, English, Mandarin, and Spanish. Office hours are 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
