Represents over 475 member organizations and individuals from across the artistic disciplines. Advocates for the arts, culture and heritage sector by monitoring public policy, education and encouraging the connection between creativity and well-being, and representing the interests of artists and cultural workers. Offers resources and services that allow artists and cultural workers to publicize their events, network, and access affordable and relevant professional development opportunities. Produces an annual conference. Publishes the weekly BC Alliance News e-newsletter and blog. Office hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Thursday; Friday by appointment. Nonprofit society.
