BC Bereavement Helpline

Through a provincial toll-free and confidential helpline, trained volunteers offer compassionate listening, information, and referrals for individuals who are suffering from grief and bereavement. Provides training and education for professionals on related topics, including sudden and traumatic loss; fees are charged. Maintains an annual 'Grief Support Resource Guide' that is available to members. Membership fees are $30 annually for individuals and $75 to $325 annually for organizations. Helpline and office hours are from 9 am to 5 pm Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, 9 am to 8:30 pm Wednesdays and Fridays, and 9 am to 1 pm Saturdays. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
