Promotes and assists in the conservation of fish and wildlife resources in BC through the protection, acquisition, or enhancement of fish and wildlife habitat. Owns and manages WildSafeBC, an educational program that teaches the community how to reduce the frequency and intensity of human-wildlife conflicts. Administers the Land for Wildlife Fund which provides funds for land acquisition for critical habitat, and provides project management services. Manages the Wildlife Collision Prevention Program, which aims to reduce wildlife collisions through different activities and services. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
