BC Newcomer Camp

Free summer day camp for recently arrived refugee children ages six to 12. Program includes English language practice in the morning and sports, games, arts, and crafts in the afternoon. Aims to help children gain the language skills and other tools they need to thrive in their new home. Includes free transit passes for children and parents and daily Halal lunches and snacks. Staff are fluent in Arabic and English. Camps are held during July and August in Vancouver and Surrey, two days a week from 9:30 am to 4 pm. Registered charity.
