BC Search Dog Association

Volunteer-run nonprofit society dedicated to training and maintaining a network of professional ground search and rescue (GSAR) dog teams in BC. Coordinates with Emergency Management BC and local search and rescue teams to plan for effective methods of search and rescue in the event of an emergency. Trains dogs for wilderness area search and tracking in BC. Dog teams are members of local GSAR teams, which respond to requests from the RCMP for search and rescue services.
