BC SOGI Educator Network

Supports educators across BC in making schools inclusive and safe for students of all sexual orientations and gender identities (SOGI). Resources include a newsletter, an opportunity for educators to share resources, the SOGI Educator Toolkit, best practices/policies for SOGI inclusive education, professional development videos and presentations, and information for parents. Welcomes participation from educators and staff from all districts, independent schools, and First Nations schools. Program of the ARC Foundation, created in collaboration with BC Ministry of Education, BC Teachers' Federation, school districts across BC, UBC Faculty of Education, education partners, and various local, national, and international LGBTQ+ community organizations. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
