Bowen Island Municipality

Provides community planning and development, cultural services, bylaw enforcement (including aggressive dogs and noisy dogs), permits and licensing (except no dog licensing), and public works; contracts Bowen Waste Service to pick up dead animals (604-947-2255). Emergency preparedness services include information and training to build neighbourhood self-sufficiency, and the Bowen Island Emergency Notification System (BowENS). Mayor: Andrew Leonard. Councillors: Sue Ellen Fast, Judith Gedye, Alex Jurgensen, Alison Morse, John Saunders, Tim Wake. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
