Burnaby Division of Family Practice

Organization of community-based primary care physicians. Provides local physicians with the opportunity to work collaboratively with Fraser Health and Ministry of Health to identify health care needs in the community and develop solutions to meet them. Members work together to increase family physician influence on regional health care delivery, to enhance professional satisfaction for physicians and general practitioners, and to improve patient care within the region. The Burnaby Primary Care Network is a clinical network of physicians, nurse practitioners, and allied health care providers who provide team-based support for physicians and patients; partnership between the division and Fraser Health, with support from First Nations and other community partners.
