Provides books and other material on loan to the public, as well as programs for children and adults, and free public computing and wireless access. Has bookable meeting spaces; call for details. Also provides in-depth reference and information on all subjects. Resources include directories, full-text newspaper and journal databases, other specialized online resources, microfilms, and government reports and regulations. Service available in person, and via the telephone, email, and internet. Offers a home delivery service to Burnaby residents who are not able to visit the library on their own because of mobility limitations, health issues, frailty, or perceptual or print disabilities. Hours at the central branch are 10 am to 8 pm Monday to Thursday, 10 am to 6 pm Fridays and Saturdays, and 12 noon to 5 pm Sundays.
