Canadian Deafblind Association - BC Chapter (CDBA-BC)

Association dedicated to assisting individuals who are deafblind to achieve the best quality of life possible. Recognizes the right of every individual with deafblindness to receive lifelong Intervention Services in order to ensure a safe, healthy living environment, as well as a sense of self-respect and dignity. Programs include the Early Intervention Program for infants and children from birth to age five, the Deafblind Intervention Program for children and youth ages two to 19, and the Summer Recreation Program. Also offers Youth to Adult Transition support, as well as the Hospital/Relief Intervention Services Program which provides deafblind Intervention services for deafblind members in medical or crisis situations. Provides support for all children with deafblindness, and their families, teams, and deafblind Intervenors. Services BC. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
