Cerebral Palsy Association of BC (CPABC)

Raises awareness about cerebral palsy and provides services to those affected by cerebral palsy. Offers financial assistance for the purchase of assistive devices, educational bursaries, special needs summer camp bursaries, workshops, a lending library, and resource materials for parents, individuals with cerebral palsy, teachers, and others. Provides adapted yoga, dance classes, support groups for individuals with cerebral palsy and other disabilities, and support groups for parents. Also provides direct support through a Family and Individual Support Worker who offers advocacy and information and referral, and a Youth Navigator who assists families and teenagers through the transition to adulthood by offering support, and information and referral to resources. Offers disability awareness presentations to schools, community groups, and businesses. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
