They can also cover medical expenses such as prosthetics, eyewear, home adjustments for barrier-free living, respite services, braille books, short-term counselling, and physiotherapy. Grants typically range from $200 to $4,000 with a maximum of $5,000; payment is made to the vendor. Applicants must be over 18 years and a permanent resident of Canada.
