Children's Hearing and Speech Centre of BC

Provides comprehensive listening and spoken language education for children from birth to grade 12 with hearing loss in BC. Offers onsite audiology; early intervention; Parent Child Mother Goose Program; classes for preschool, pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten to Grade 3; and one-to-one speech and language therapy sessions. Itinerant teachers provide support to students enrolled in independent schools through Grade 12 province-wide, in person and/or tele-therapy visits. Promotes a family-centred approach in which parent education, support groups, and parent coaching are essential elements. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday; program hours vary.
