Offers a range of programs and activities focused on serving the tangible needs of individuals, children, and families in Vancouver, Tri-Cities, and Surrey. Back to School Blast provides free backpacks filled with school supplies for families in need; registration required. The Out of School Care Program provides licensed before- and after-school care for children ages five to 12 at Laura Secord Elementary School (2500 Lakewood Drive, Vancouver) as well as Summer Day Camps for any community families; fees are charged, Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) subsidy can be applied. Also offers free family movie matinees, Christmas hampers for registered guests, and other special events. All times, locations, and registration information available online or by phone.
