Mandated to serve and protect the public interest by registering competent midwives who will practice safely and ethically. Responsible for overseeing and regulating the practice of midwifery in the province of BC and ensuring that standards of competency and safety are maintained. Hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Nonprofit society.
