Comox Valley Transition Society

Assists women, inclusive of trans women, who are experiencing or feeling family and/or relationship violence. Offers shelter, emotional support, food and clothing, advocacy, counselling, an employment program, a homelessness prevention program, children's programs, and educational training and workshops to the public, in schools, and businesses. All services are confidential and free of charge, with the exception of some private recovery beds at Amethyst House. Serves the Comox, Courtenay, and Cumberland areas, including Denman Island and Hornby Island. Hours are 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
