Economic Development Society of BC (EDSBC)

Supports the Francophone and Francophile business community in BC. Offers specialty services for entrepreneurs, businesswomen, newcomers, and youth. Also works with businesses to facilitate hiring decisions and retention of Francophone newcomers in the labour market. Team-Up helps BC companies recruit Francophone immigrants, and offers free support services to newcomers (including immigrants and refugees) in establishing themselves economically by assisting them with employment search and entrepreneurship; services include business mentoring, one-to-one and strategic coaching, presentations and training sessions, fundraising support, and assistance with job search. Program is offered in partnership with IRCC, Service Canada, and the Province of BC. Services are offered in French and English. Office hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday.
