Aims to address systemic gaps that exist for underserved and vulnerable communities across the Lower Mainland, including those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, children and youth, Indigenous, black, and people of colour populations, and individuals experiencing challenges related to socioeconomic factors and addiction. The Food Security program provides hampers (intake via email), and meals and snacks, including culturally appropriate foods, to community members in need; check website, social media, and flyers in community for location and time details. The Little Help Box provides access to food, personal hygiene supplies, harm reduction supplies, and warm clothing to those in need; available 24/7 and restocked regularly. The Fresh Start program provides personal hygiene supplies, and services such as haircuts, facial hair grooming, and pedicures to community members in need; check website, social media, and flyers in community for location and time details. Offered in partnership with Fraser Health, the Mobile Health Unit outreach initiative provides access to nursing services, harm reduction, counselling, peer support, and basic needs supplies; check website, social media, and flyers in community for location and time details. The Salmon Project is a peer-led outreach initiative that provides culturally and linguistically appropriate training and resources to community members and agencies to identify and respond to a suspected opioid poisoning. Children and Youth Programs include sports and fitness activities, outdoor adventures, and mentorship for children and youth of all ages and abilities; also offers academic support for participants.
