Provides a wide range of services and programs including information and referral services, health and wellness programs, and educational workshops; serves children, youth, families, newcomers, and seniors. Offers various child care programs including daycare (part-time and full-time), and before- and after-school care. Family programs include Parent-Child Mother Goose and parent/caregiver and tot drop-in, as well as specialized programs for newcomer families. Programs for youth include artistic programs. Also offers a financial literacy program for newcomers. Programs are also offered both off-site at other locations around Kitsilano and at UBC. Public access computers and room rentals are also available. Annual membership required: $10 for individuals, $20 per family. Office hours are 9 am to 5 Mondays, 9 am to 6 pm Tuesday to Thursday, and 9 am to 5 pm Fridays. Living Room is accessible without a membership and offers books, free WiFi, air conditioning, games, coffee/tea and snacks, and food distribution on Fridays. Community Volunteer Income Tax Program offers free-with-membership income tax clinics for eligible individuals.
