Marpole Oakridge Family Place

Drop-in centre for parents, caregivers, and their children from birth to age six. Provides information and referrals; parent education; book, video, and toy libraries; and space for socializing and networking. Offers parenting programs including Mother Goose, Nobody's Perfect (in English and Cantonese/Mandarin), STEP (Systematic Training for Effective Parenting), Play and Learn Program, and Dad and Me Program. Small fee charged per family per drop-in visit. During the tax season, offers free income tax clinics for eligible newcomers, people with disabilities, and seniors. Drop-in program hours are 9 am to 12 noon Monday to Friday. Play and Learn preschool hours are 1 pm to 3:30 pm.
