Metro Vancouver Indigenous Services Society (MVISS)

Provides healing services for Indigenous adults age 18 and older with substance use and trauma issues. Services include community drop-in programs, group healing, individual and family counselling, and referral to substance use and mental health services. Incorporates Indigenous cultural values, beliefs, and philosophy. Referral accepted from self or other. Also provides opioid users with free Take Home Naloxone Kits (Narcan) that can be used to reverse the effects of overdoses from opioids like fentanyl, heroin, methadone, morphine, and oxycodone. Serves Vancouver, North Vancouver, and Richmond. Hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday; may be available some evenings and weekends. Funded by Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH).
