Aim is to improve the access and quality of mental health and addictions services for all British Columbians. Assists people to easily and quickly navigate accessing the information and services to meet their needs via www.wellbeing.gov.bc.ca. Also responds to the opioid public health emergency. The Overdose Emergency Response Centre works provincially, regionally, and locally to mobilize resources within communities to intervene quickly to save lives and deliver treatment, and support on the ground to proactively identify and support people at risk from overdose. Through www.stopoverdose.gov.bc.ca, provides information and education on topics such as how to respond to an overdose, naloxone kits, overdose prevention, and supervised consumption and overdose prevention sites.
