Mole Hill Community Housing Society

Provides social housing rental suites in houses occupying a Vancouver city block enclosed by Bute, Comox, Thurlow, and Pendrell Streets. The community includes daycares, a farmer's market, a gallery, and gardens; gardens are open to residents in nearby neighbourhoods. Tenants pay 30% or less of their household income in rent. Metro Vancouver residents can apply for membership online or in person. Operated in partnership with City of Vancouver and with BC Housing; application is through Mole Hill.

The Mole Hill Neighbourhood Support Society (MHNSS) focuses on advocacy and in-home support for senior tenants living in Mole Hill Community Housing Society buildings. Partners with Gordon Neighbourhood House to provide a weekly luncheon program for seniors residing at Mole Hill. Additional activities include education and advocacy pertaining to community development and heritage preservation, historical maintenance projects, community art projects, and nonprofit property management consulting. Office hours are 12 noon to 4 pm Mondays, 9 am to 12 noon Wednesdays, and 12 noon to 4:30 pm on Thursdays. Nonprofit society.
