Neighbourhood Housing Society

Provides affordable housing options for low-income people living in the Vancouver Downtown Eastside. Manages three social housing apartment complexes that provide independent living for 180 residents: Bruce Eriksen Place (380 Main Street), The Oasis (40 East Hastings Street), and Bridget Moran Place (668 Powell Street) which is run in partnership with RainCity Housing and Support Society. Aids in linking residents with support services such as health care, skills training, and education and employment services to empower them to move forward with their lives. Applications can be submitted online. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
