North Shore Women's Centre

Drop-in resource centre for women (including transgender women, Two-Spirit, and non-binary individuals) seeking information, resources, peer counselling, and support on women's issues. Offers monthly workshops and public education, a single mother's support group three times per year, basic computer training in Arabic, Farsi, French, and Greek, and information and referral to other community services. The Family Law Clinic provides legal information and advice consultation on family law issues. Girls Empowerment Camp is a free, one-week summer day camp to support girls ages 10 to 17 in empowering themselves and creating social change. Also offers access to a lending library, public access computers, and free Income ?Tax Clinic for women with modest incomes. Registration is required for all programs. Serves the North Shore (North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Bowen Island, and Lions Bay). Hours are 10 am to 3 pm Monday to Thursday. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
