North Vancouver Recreation and Culture Commission

Oversees parks, recreational facilities, and cultural facilities in North Vancouver. Indoor facilities include gymnasiums; fitness centres; racquet courts; swimming pools; ice rinks; art, dance, music, and pottery studios; multipurpose rooms, and a climbing wall. Outdoor amenities include tennis courts, pickleball courts, water parks, lacrosse boxes, skateboard parks, and sand volleyball courts. Centres include Centennial Theatre, Delbrook Community Recreation Centre, Harry Jerome Recreation Centre, Ice Sports North Shore, John Braithwaite Community Centre, Karen Magnussen Community Recreation Centre, Lions Gate Community Centre, Lynn Valley Community Recreation Centre, Lynn Valley Village Community Complex, Memorial Community Recreation Centre, Mickey McDougall Community Recreation Centre, North Shore Neighbourhood House, North Vancouver Tennis Centre, Parkgate Community Centre, Ron Andrews Community Recreation Centre, and Seylynn Community Recreation Centre. Offers a wide variety of recreational, social, and cultural programs for all ages and abilities, including children, youth, families, seniors, and people with disabilities. Financial subsidies are available to North Vancouver residents who are living on a low income. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
