Pacific Association of First Nations Women (PAFNW)

Provides holistic and culturally safe programs and services that support healthy lifestyles for Indigenous women and families. Promotes a support network for First Nations women, as well as information sharing among First Nations women, womens' groups, and municipal and provincial governments; includes providing supports to families of missing and murdered women. Also offers cultural youth programming for youth in care. Distributes a scholarship fund for First Nations women in post-secondary training. Receives funding from Justice Canada, First Peoples' Cultural Council, Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH), First Nations Health Authority (FNHA), and the United Church. Office hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Nonprofit society.
