Pacific Immigrant Resources Society (PIRS)

Works to ensure that immigrant and refugee women (including refugee applicants) and children can participate fully in Canadian life. Provides neighbourhood-based programs for immigrant and refugee women and their children, and works collaboratively with other organizations to promote the development of accessible and culturally appropriate programs and services. Volunteer opportunities, training, and support are available. Offers programs on women's development, early childhood education, family, English as a second language, and immigrant women's networking. Office hours are 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
