An intensive trauma-informed residential program for men and women working on overcoming problematic substance use. Offers public and private pay options; 35 beds are available with priority for Vancouver clients. Length of stay is generally between 35 to 84+ days, depending on individual needs. Services include group and individual therapy. Continuing care supports clients between 12 to 18 months post-treatment. Alumni services offer graduates opportunities to learn, grow, and make connections through workshops, peer support gathering, social events, and volunteerism. Staff are trained to work with clients with concurrent disorders, on methadone/suboxone maintenance, and from any ethnic or cultural background, sexual orientation, gender identity or varied life experience. Service is offered in English only; no access to interpretation service is provided. Office and intake hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Referrals are from the Central Addiction Intake Team (CAIT) at Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) for income assistance clients. Private pay clients may self-refer. Government or ministry funded clients may be partially or fully funded up to $45 per day. Private pay beds are $225 per day and can be paid through self-pay, employer, insurance, or other funding sources. Wheelchair accessible. Funded by VCH. Nonprofit society.
