Place of Refuge

Runs second-stage transitional housing for nine men, 19 years of age and older who have completed detox and initial treatment or have been abstinent for a minimum of three months. Offers access to a full-time addictions counsellor and resources for life-skills training, employment, and education. Minimum stay is three months; maximum stay is two years. Fees are $1000 per month for a double room and $1200 for a single room. Accepts self-referrals. Office hours are 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday. Intake is usually during mornings on Monday to Friday. Partially funded by the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction (MSPR).
