Provides emotional support to people in crisis and distress. The Sahas Helpline is a confidential and culturally-sensitive phone service that provides emotional support, crisis intervention, information on community resources, and referral. Issues may include depression and anxiety, suicide and suicidal ideation, mental health and substance use, domestic abuse, and stress due to any life events. Also offers follow-up case management. Services are available in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu. Serves BC. Hours are 8 am to 8 pm seven days a week. Nonprofit society.
