Provides 24-hour health care services including personal care and home support; fees are charged. Also provides accompanied transportation to individuals in Burnaby, Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, North Vancouver, Richmond, Vancouver, and West Vancouver, as well as Sidney, Victoria, and West Sooke for all purposes. Individuals must be a resident of Vancouver area, Victoria area, and/or be a government assistance recipient. Services include support for clients with dementia, assistance with toileting, help with vehicle entry/exit, and space for a personal attendant. Can accommodate a walker, a wheelchair (depending on the vehicle), and service animals. Service hours are 24 hours daily. Multi-purpose transportation is by car with a paid driver. Booking is required at least one day in advance with pre-registration; booking hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Multiple appointments may be booked in one trip. Booking of regular trips is permitted. A minimum of 24 hours is required to cancel a trip. Pre-registration is required by phone or via website. Cost to client ranges from $36 to $44 per hour for more than three hours of service, or $46 to $53 per hour for less than three hours. Clients are responsible for mileage at $0.55/km. Clients are invoiced monthly and can pay online or by mailing a cheque. Office hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
