Sole Food Street Farms

Social enterprise provides urban agriculture education and employment for Vancouver's inner city residents. Community residents are trained and employed to construct, plant, maintain, and harvest the farm. Ten percent of crops go to food programs in the Downtown Eastside with the rest available at farmers markets and sold to neighbourhood restaurants and community organizations. Revenue generated goes into job creation. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
