Strathcona Community Dental Clinic

Provides low-cost general dentistry for children up to age 19 and their families, as well as seniors age 65 and older; adults ages 19 to 64 must have children who are patients at the clinic in order to be eligible for service. Also offers prevention and dental health information as well as nutritional counselling. Fees are charged; accepts private and government insurance plans for patients on income assistance, disability, and on First Nations Health benefits, or receiving interim federal health coverage for refugees. Patients with no dental coverage are eligible for a 20% discount. Staff speak English, Cantonese, French, and Mandarin. Clinic hours are 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
