A full service, licensed adoption agency for birth parents and adoptive parents in BC. Client-centred services include confidential pregnancy counselling, assistance in locating supportive services, peer counselling, a birth mother support group, and adoption planning services. Supports parents to make an informed choice regarding abortion, adoption, or parenting. Also offers a confidential birth parent line available by phone or text. Services for adoptive parents include adoption preparation counselling, home studies, facilitating intercountry adoptions, post-placement support groups, and educational seminars. Can also complete the younger child's court report required for a stepparent or relative adoption when the child is between seven and 11 years of age. Staff are available to respond to requests seven days a week. Services to birth parents are free, though fees are charged for services to adoptive parents. Office hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
