The Adler Centre

Provides counselling services, a family resource centre, and a library. Registered counsellors and interns (Master's level practicum students) offer in-person, online, and phone counselling services to families, couples, and individuals of all ages on a variety of subjects. Counselling rates are as follows: intern counsellors are $60 per session for individual counselling (sliding scale available at $45 per session, for those who are on disability, unemployed, or work less than 10 hours per week), and $85 per session for couples/family counselling; registered counsellors are $100 per session for individual counselling, and $120 for couples/family counselling. Also offers the STEP (Systematic Training for Effective Parenting) parenting workshop, and courses for professionals in early recollections, dream interpretation, and parent education. Publishes a quarterly newsletter for members. Office hours are 9:30 am to 8:30 pm Monday to Saturday. Nonprofit society.
