Dedicated to building a more resilient and inclusive community by promoting the well-being of those in need while preserving Chinatown's cultural heritage. Cultural, physical and commercial revitalization projects focus on creating a lasting positive impact in the community. Programs find a balance between preserving tradition and enabling a sustainable future for Vancouver's Chinatown. The Economic Recovery Program was developed as an initiative to provide business owners and residents with support and access to relief resources. Support includes but not limited to helping businesses apply for government relief programs and connecting business owners with financial institutions, and government agencies; implementing initiatives to create cleaner and safer streets in Chinatown; educating and helping businesses in marketing, merchandising, digital marketing and online strategies.
