Vancouver Tenants Union (VTU)
A volunteer-run union that seeks to build a base of tenants throughout the city to establish political power to create change. Aim is to educate renters on their rights and provide practical and emotional support to tenants in dispute with their landlords. Advocates systemically for the rights of tenants and the preservation of affordable housing. Nonprofit society.
