West End Seniors' Network (WESN)

Community service organization provides a variety of services for older adults age 55 and older who live in the West End or Coal Harbour (west of Burrard Street to Stanley Park). Offers the Seniors In Need Fund for older adults on a fixed or limited income who are facing an unexpected expense; applications are online. Membership cost is $10. When an extreme heat warning is called, also offers emergency response services such as cooling kits and telephone check-ins. Hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
