Aboriginal Youth Worker at UNYA

Service Description

Provides non-judgemental one-to-one support, cultural and recreational activities, and programming to Indigenous youth ages 11 to 24, incorporating cultural teachings from the medicine wheel, the Circle of Courage, and local First Nations. Works with local schools, community centres, and other resources to offer programs that are specifically for Indigenous youth. Also helps youth overcome barriers that might keep them from participating in programs and services.
