Service Description

Aims to create a local network of accessibility and settlement service providers for immigrants and refugees who have a self-disclosed disability and who live in the City of Vancouver. Services are available as one-on-one support and outreach to other programs. Provides timely cultural and language support to connect immigrants and refugees with disabilities to settlement and community programs including employment programs, informational workshops, legal clinics, and other disability support services. Also provides advocacy through championing a unified network of Vancouver accessibility and settlement service providers with the aim of bringing the intersection of disability and (re)settlement experiences to bear on all City of Vancouver policy and partnership discussions.
