ACES (Acquiring Community-Based Employment Skills)

Service Description

Offers training, life skills, and employment readiness workshops to individuals facing barriers to employment. Staff work one-to-one with participants on their career goals, obtaining work-related certification, and achieving three months of work experience. To be eligible, a participant must live in BC; be ages 15 and up; not a full-time student; a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person; unemployed, underemployed, or employed in a low-skilled occupation. Accepts self-referrals. Funded by the Government of Canada through the Canada-BC Workforce Development Agreement.
