Addiction Recovery Program (ARP) - Vancouver Coastal and Fraser Region

Service Description

Provides stable, short-term, independent housing to individuals ages 19 and up who are participating in a substance use recovery program. Individuals must have demonstrated a commitment to recovery, been abstinent for a period of at least three months at time of referral/application and maintain abstinence prior to placement into program, have skills and abilities to live independently with minimal supports, and reside in Vancouver Coastal or the Fraser Health regions. Accepts individuals on methadone or suboxone maintenance. Duration of program is 18 months. In the Vancouver area, apply through Vancouver Coastal Health's Access Central service. In the Fraser Valley area, contact staff at a recovery house or treatment centre, or a Fraser Health outpatient substance use counsellor. Offered in partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health and Fraser Health.
