Adult Day Program - North Vancouver (Forbes Avenue)

Provides a day program for eligible seniors and adults with disabilities that offers a range of health, social stimulation, and therapeutic recreational programs in supportive group environment. Services include nursing supervision, health status monitoring, medication support and monitoring, assistance with personal care if needed, and caregiver support and education. Also provides a community bathing program for eligible seniors and others with disabling chronic care problems. Clients are charged a small fee per day to attend the program; this fee is for supplies, a meal and snacks, and transportation. Referral through Home and Community Care case manager required. Site hours are 8:30 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday; program runs from Monday to Friday for five hours a day.
